Before doing anything the sink should be completely emptied as well as cleaned of any debris or food scraps. Wait 1 minute wipe away and enjoy the luster. Once your granite composite sink is cleaned you can restore its shine using mineral oil. Use a clean soft cloth to scrub the stain.

Flush with hot water and scrub down the whole sink with dish soap as well. Mix equal parts water and distilled white vinegar in a spray bottle. You may also use another rag to wipe the sink. Empty clean and rinse the sink.

Some black granite composite sink looks dull even after deep cleaning. Rub this cloth thoroughly over the sink. Spray the solution on soap scum and or food particles. Whether you have a natural granite sink or composite granite sink there are easy and effective ways to clean the fixtures.

Get some mineral oil from your kitchen or department shop. Leave it about a minute to let it sit. Black or dark colored granite can develop a white haze over the surface from hard water mineral deposits. Pour a few teaspoons of mineral oil or olive oil on a small section of a clean dry cloth or rag.

A thorough cleaning with mild detergent followed by a light coat of olive or mineral oil. Apply a tablespoon of mineral oil to a soft cloth and buff using a circular motion. Buff the excess oil away by using the dry section of the cloth. After cleaning it out dry it with a paper towel or dish rag.
